For a long time I had heard about the Blackpool Theme Park, with friends and acquaintances sharing their experiences on some of the rides. So naturally, I wanted to give it a shot and test my limits. I was going in for the thrill I think, more so to ascertain whether I am an adrenaline junkie and living by the edge kind of girl. In my mind, I think I am a badass and always looking for ways to push the envelope.
My journey began in London, it took me more than 3 hours probably even 4 to get to Blackpool. I was all smiles and filled with excitement as I was going on two of the most popular rides the Big One and the Infusion rides. Down below, you can watch two videos that illustrated the Big One and Infusion experience, that I pulled up from YouTube.
Little did I know what was in store hehehehe!!!!! I started with the Infusion ride and then proceeded to the Big One, the Valhalla, the Wild Mouse and then the Wallace and Gromit’s Thrill-O-Matic ride.
Einstein’s theory of relativity best describes my experience on the roller coaster, when one minute seems like an eternity, I know you have had similar experiences when a moment in time just seems never ending. Do you know that feeling you have when you realise that you have just lost control of everything and at this point Carrie Underwood’s song “Jesus Take the Wheel” is constantly playing in your head, Yup!!! that was the state I was in, I kept thinking why ever did I go to Blackpool Theme Park in the first place. The G-Force just keeps thrusting you down. The crazy part is that I kept screaming until I figured there was no point in doing it anymore.
Today as I look back, I have to say it is by far one of the most exciting experiences of my life, would I do it again? YES YES YES absolutely, despite the G force in roller coasters and the adrenaline your body pumps, it is absolutely an amazing feeling. Despite how much I try to put it into words, it’s an experience that is best realised when you try it out. My hope is that each an everyone one of you, will get to share the thrill of theme parks.
Thanks for stopping by and as always, I shall leave you with a quote,
