Airbnb has blown up to become one of the “go to” sites for travellers especially millennials for affordable and budget friendly accommodation in recent years. Today, I thought I’d share some quick tips for first time Airbnb users. I am personally a huge fan of Airbnb as it is an amazing concept both for travellers and hosts alike, plus it’s a great way to save money while travelling as some of it’s options are definitely cheaper than conventional accommodation options.
Recently, I was having a chat with a good friend of mine about the struggles of being a third world country passport holder, my all time favourite topic of discussion 🙂 . People falling into this category are generally passport holders from African countries, a few Asian, Middle Eastern, Caribbean and South American countries. This little chat got me thinking about a time when I was in Rome on my way back to London when the flight got delayed a while due to a late departure from London. You know how delayed flights tend to make disgruntled passengers want to chat each other up and complain about the service. Little did I know I was going to be pulled into small talk due to this. For those who know me personally; I am very much an introvert; only speak when am spoken to and seldom ever initiate a conversation with strangers unless in dire circumstances.
Hi everyone, thanks for stopping by today. My last blog post detailed the mistakes I made while planning my trip to Dubai. Despite the few mishaps, I managed to squeeze in quite a lot of activities considering I was there for just a few days.
If you are visiting Dubai for the first time make sure you read my previous post here for things to avoid while there. Dubai is an amazing destination, a melting point of cultural diversity that makes for an enjoyable trip in a variety of ways. Dubai has a population of about 2.7 million with only a small fraction constituting the local Emirati people. Dubai will wow you with it’s amazing culinary options and cultural inclusivity. If Dubai is on your list this year consider this a quick guide.
Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing wonderfully well and working towards your dreams. Today I am keen on sharing my tips on solo travel. In today’s world many of us have become accustomed to doing things in pairs, as a family or as a team. Even in job scenarios most companies tend to recruit a candidate that is more likely to be a team player within the organisation. Well, while the trait of doing things with others is great, it may sometimes stripe us of our individuality, identity and confidence in some cases.
Wow, I see confetti and cake everywhere :-), at least in my mind hehehehe!! I can’t believe it’s been one year already. It seems like just the other day when I decided to share my passion for travel and all things travel. I had no idea that I would come this far. What I know for sure is that I am grateful to everyone of you who takes time to come on here and read the articles I post. Your views, comments and likes are deeply and highly appreciated.
